Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you search Surplus Registry, we collect the search terms you enter (name, property address, case number, state, county). We do not require an account to search.

When you submit a research request or pre-register a property, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, property address, and any additional details you choose to share.

How we use information

Search terms are used to return matching records and to improve our database. Research request and pre-registration information is used to process your request and contact you with results.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to process your request or as required by law.

Public records

Surplus Registry compiles records from public sources. The information in our database — property addresses, case numbers, sale dates, sale amounts — is already public. We do not publish private information such as Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank account numbers, or private contact information.

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
